This Ford Mondeo LX looks like it has seen better days, with white flecks on its blue paintwork, which might have been why its owners decided to scrap their car in Manchester's Metro Salvage yard. However, it still runs after a decade on the street, so our car breakers were quick to take out its 2 litre petrol engine to add to our stock of used Ford engines.
