BMW, the German acronym for "Bayerische Motoren Werke", otherwise to the English – "Bavarian Motor Works. Although, may we point out that "Werke" or "Work" will no longer be relevant by the time you have read this article! The car is here to be scrapped, meaning its parts are going to be stripped off and the remaining’s will be crushed into a solid lump of German metal – maybe German Salami sounds much appetising!

It's a shame the car is being scrapped, at some time in the life of this 1997 BMW 3 Series 318ti Compact, it completed A-to-B on so many occasions! The loyalty it offered and now it is just palmed off to be forgotten about. We paid a fair whack for this, as we do with many late model vehicles, so lets hope we’ve got the bits and pieces knocking around to get it back up-and-running! Our car salvage yard just took in this 1997 BMW 3 Series 318I with a 1.8 litre petrol engine (nice!). This beamer weighs about the same as 85 microwaves, giving it a scrap value of around £206.
