The council Struggle
Parking attendants across the UK and especially throughout Manchester are making the the council millions, 400 million to be precise. And it is a absolute joke that the council can make that much money on parking your car in the wrong place. Not only have they even cut there own staff by 5 percent but they still managed to hand out a whopping 250,000 tickets on your cars. And theses parkies aren’t slowing down either they are in front by a whopping quarter of a million tickets than is years past. It is still not right to park in city centers and should still come with punishment, but to take this much money off a country’s population that is in debt and after the economy crash with the banks. I can see us ending up in a corrupt state just as Greece is now with stupid tax rates that no one will pay and ending up in public outcry, riots, and resulting in a back hand country. This is why something needs to be done and im not just on about parking fines or parking ticket’s it is a combination of money making scams from the government including speed camera’s as well. But we will soon be seeing the true figures because the survey is out today on how much they have made in the past year and with a guess they will not be making a loss. Then again i don’t think you can make a loss at when you can manipulate the public pocket.
The Damage
Not only is it a absolute pain when you get a parking fine, there is only two things that can happen worse than that. One of them is to get a clamp on your wheel. After a day’s shopping and you come back to your car and it has a clamp on is a right pain. Not only do you have to pay and wait for the clamp to be taken off there is any meeting or appointment you will miss in this time period. I see this as a completely pointless act as you would only have to pay a similar amount but without the time loss. and the second is the towing of the car. You have to make plans and book a appointment to get the car and it is costly to the pocket. Plus any scratches, dents or any other broken bits that you may get in the process you will have to go to Manchester Car Parts to get that sorted out. Then make a caim to the recovery company.
Now i have found this video on youtube. If every one did this they would soon be giving it a miss.
