In 1992 Dewoo separated from General Motors. And off that they went end developed the Daewoo models based on older cars from General Motors. From that came the well-known Lanos in 1997. Because these cars are now so old on the T100 model. They roll into our scrapyard at Metro Salvage on a weekly basis. This means we constantly have stock of any car part you require. Be careful you don't catch your shins on this toy car…AHEM! Sorry, it’s not a toy car, it’s actually a real car! It looked like a toy car for a minute, certainly small enough to be anyway. It only has an f8cv 3 cylinder 0.8 litre petrol engine, with barely enough power to pull the skin off the top of a rice pudding!

Fortunately, it has now arrived at Metro Salvage to be scrapped; we have shifted it from under your feet (so you won't be tripping over it anymore). Soon to be crushed and weighed in as scrap metal, we may be lucky to be on par with the weight of a bag of potatoes!

Our scrap car specialists just took in this 2002 Daewoo Tacuma SE with a 1.6 litre petrol engine, here at our Preston scrap car specialists. This Tacuma has a few problems with it overheating so we'll be having a look at whether it's fixable or not, but if not we'll be doing our favourite thing of all – squashing it into a cube and shipping it off for recycling! This car's worth a tidy £215 as scrap metal which is nothing to be sniffed at!
