This shiny blue 1999 Peugot 206 rolled into our Stockport car breakers so we could take out its 1,587cc petrol engine and other components before using the rest for scrap metal. Weighing in at 910kg, our salvage crew could get approximately £1.09.20 for this car as scrap, although this figure would be higher if the truck it is on was scrapped too.
Check out this Peugeot 206 XS with a petrol engine, 1.6 litres, here at our car breakers yard today! Both windscreens are smashed – clearly the previous owner was unsatisfied with its air conditioning and wanted to achieve a permanent cooling breeze. I tried the same approach once, but it was no use – my hat kept flying off, and I ended up having to superglue it to my head. Fortunately I’m completely bald, which provides a good adhesive surface. I’ve lived with that cap on for coming up to 10 years now!
Our car salvage yard just took in this 2003 Peugeot 206 Look with a 1.1 litre petrol engine. We’ve not got any photos of it, but that’s for a very good reason – it’s camera shy. We’re going to be breaking it up into bits over the next couple of days, so hopefully its various components are a bit more outgoing and find themselves adopted by members of the public!
